Now exclusively for two adults, the lodge blends calm open-plan living with standout outdoor features — including a sheltered hot tub and outdoor cinema area with day bed, perfect for cosy film nights whatever the weather. The space Silver Birch Lodge combines cosy indoor living, an large enclosed garden, sauna access and woodland surroundings. Inside, the space is warm and open, made for unhurried time together — whether cooking, relaxing, or simply enjoying the slower rhythm of the countryside. Set within a quieter corner of the woodland and surrounded by open fields, this lodge offers a calm and comfortable setting to slow down — whether that’s mornings in the hot tub, gentle walks from your door or simply enjoying time together without a set plan. The enclosed garden provides a safe, easy space for dogs. Guests can make the most of everything on site, including the woodland sauna experience with cold drench shower and relaxation deck (available to book), along with a tennis court, games room, bike hire and open countryside walks. Inside, the lodge is designed to feel bright and connected to its surroundings. Large sliding doors open onto your private veranda, creating a natural flow between indoors and out. The village of Toppesfield is just an easy 8-minute walk away, with a dog-friendly pub, village shop, post office and park. Located on the Essex/Suffolk border, Toppesfield Hall is perfectly placed for exploring nearby villages and countryside — though many guests choose to stay onsite and enjoy the surroundings. Please note: they may be vocal at times including night-times. Guest access No Parking next to lodges- There is dedicated parking available just a short walk from the Lodges (within 150 yards). There is a step up to the lodge. Unfortunately due to the step and parking; we do not advertise our lodges as accessible. Other things to note 1. No Parties or Events 2. No visitors (without prior approval from your host) 3. No overnight guests 4. No smoking/vaping inside 5. Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the premises. 6. Please keep noise to a minimum between 10.30pm and 8.30am 7. Please read our Terms & Conditions Additional Notes: Dogs: Two well behaved Dog Only (unless you have written consent from the owners). *Dogs must NOT be left to roam freely. Please ensure they are kept on a lead when walking around. *Please bring plenty of throws/old towels for your dog and to cover the sofa, as we do not supply these. *Strictly no dogs upstairs, on the beds or in the Hot Tub. *Dogs must not be left alone in the cottage when you go out. *No dogs in the Tennis Court. *Please ensure you pick up any poo and place it in the bins provided. *Please ensure you do not leave your dog to bark continuously.
