Eagle's Lookout Retreat at Wintergreen Resort, VA

Escape the heat this summer! We have the perfect location and fantastic views year-round! Our home is across the street from the Eagle's Swoop ski run. In winter it is only about a 2-min walk to the slope… Easy to stop home for cocoa, yet far enough so you won't be bothered by the snowblowers & night skiers in the evenings. In Spring-Fall we are walking distance to the Mountain Inn, dining, hiking trails and Discovery Ridge. Perfect for families & couples. Dogs considered, case-by-case, $55 fee. The space All the comforts of home during your mountain getaway... Inside, vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows open the space. The updated kitchen and baths all boast granite counters and new fixtures. The dining area seats 6-7 people comfortably, and the living room features leather seating and a wood burning fireplace for cozy evenings. (Firewood provided!) The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath, and the 2nd downstairs guest room has a queen bed. A spiral staircase leads to the upstairs loft bedroom with two sets of bunks and its own tv area with video games. Great for the kids! All rooms have flatscreen cable TVs and WiFi internet is included. (Note: No central AC in these original Treeloft Village homes, but cool summer nights, the 3700 ft elevation and mountain breezes usually do the job perfectly, as our many repeat summer guests will attest! For the rare extreme heat, we do have AC units in the downstairs rooms and provide extra fans, just in case!) Guest access You have private use of the whole house and Wintergreen Resort amenities right out your doorstep. Other things to note Golf at Stoney Creek is open to public play year round. Summer guests will have access to two area outdoor pools and Lake Monacan Beach (except for Saturdays).
