Welcome to Good Vibrations! In North Kingstown, you have the luxury of having a quiet, neighborhood experience, just a short drive from Providence, Newport, Westerly and even Boston. Just 15 minutes from Wickford Junction, the commuter train to Boston. The guest house is a SEPARATE building from our main house. Enter into the first floor, which houses a large master bedroom with high ceilings, a king-size bed and convertible futon (full-size). A pack n' play is available for infants. Black out blinds and curtains throughout. En-suite bathroom with standup shower. Private porch with 2 outdoor chairs for your enjoyment. The second floor is just up a flight of stairs and has 2 sofas that can be made into twin-size beds. There are room darkening shades throughout. TV with Roku & DVD player & DVD's available for your entertainment. An electric fireplace adds to the cozy ambiance. The 2nd bathroom with a standup shower is located directly off the living area. A kitchen with an electric range, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle & basic kitchen amenities is tucked away in the back corner. A fully equipped coffee cart is available for your use. There is a washer/dryer unit behind the kitchen to make our guests stay even more like home! A pack n' play, high chair, children's toys and books are available for guest's use. There is no dishwasher. Private entrance. Guests have access to the entire inside of the guest house. Access is limited to entry and exit of the guest house. Backyard area is off limits to guests. We will be available via phone or email during your stay should you need anything. Quiet, family-friendly/kid-friendly neighborhood. Neighbors are extremely kind, but private and appreciate the quiet. Please respect our neighbor's privacy and keep your noise at a reasonable level. You will, however, see & hear kids playing outside during the warmer months. Please drive carefully as there are children out & about! A car is highly recommended to get around. Wickford Junction, TF Green and Providence are the local stations where you can catch the commuter train that will take you directly into Boston. Wickford Junction is about 15min from us, but only runs during week days. You can park your car for free. The train ride from Wickford Junction to Boston is 1hr 30min. Providence train station is about 20min from us and the train ride is 1hr 10min to Boston. Kids up to 11 years old ride for free! See the online MBTA schedule for times and more information. The train to and from New York runs from Kingston Station, which is about 30min from us. The train ride is approximately 3hrs. Please be aware of the guest house rules. A house manual is located on the coffee table upstairs with wifi information, a reminder of the house rules, a list of restaurants, fun things to do, and what to do before you check out. Please take the time to read & follow the check out guidelines! They are also posted beside the front door in the guest house. We encourage long-term rentals for October through April! We offer a significant discount for long-term rentals, so feel free to contact us with inquiries! ****Please note that we have taken extra measures to disinfect and clean our guest house. There are disinfectant wipes as well as sprays in the house for your use. Please do not take them with you as guests need to be able to use these during their stay.
