The space The Star Loft is a modern open concept loft conversion in a Florentine town house, walking distance from the historic centre of Florence. The apartment is located just outside the old centre of town, approximately 15 minutes walk from the Duomo of Firenze in the Libertà square, and is the same distance to the Florence conference centre at the Fortezza da Basso. The area offers parking facilities on the local streets or in the Parterre Parking. The Star Loft can sleep 4+2 people. The apartment, which is fitted with all modern conveniences (free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, dishwasher, smart tv, and washing machine), has two distinct sleeping areas: one bedroom at mezzanine level with exposed wooden beams and custom made furniture, with views over the main dining/living space. While off the living area a second bedroom with futon, high celings and draw across curtains for privacy. There is also a second wardrobe for clothing (not currently shown in photos) If you're worried about the Florentine heat (Florence is usually the hottest of all cities in Italy during the summer months) then we've installed the very best air conditioning to ensure if you want the north pole when you come home, you can have it. All the appliances have been selected to be as quiet as possible, and we've taken every step to make sure they don't interrupt the peace and tranquillity of the flat. The bathroom has a shower, bidet, washbasin, and top-loading washing machine (clothes lines are accessible from the main living area). New additions: We've added a USB charger point in the wall, just plug in your phone with your USB. In the smaller room we have added a wardrobe for hanging clothes. There's a clothes horse for hanging clothes inside the flat, if it's too cold to hang them outside and you need to do a wash. We have also added a light in the kitchen sink area.
