In addition to our bay front location, the property is just a couple of short beach blocks (a beach block is about two houses..cross one street that divides the peninsula) from the ocean boardwalk and pier. And it`s within walking distance of many restaurants offering a variety of fare. Enjoy Mexican cuisine, seafood (including the famous Crab Cooker two blocks away, The Cannery, and Blue Water Grill), Italian, Sushi, and several fine dining restaurants such as Oceanfront, Nobu, Cannery, and The Dock. Our street dead ends into a small dock for picking and dropping boat passengers off...sort of cul-de-sac like. There is plenty of activity including renting paddle boards and kayaks around the corner to be delivered on the beach in front. No schlepping!! Summer recreation camps available on beach. From the moment you walk through the dutch door, you`ll feel "at home" - and maybe a little pampered at the beach. There are plenty of cabs, car rentals, bike rentals, Uber, and Lyft. We are located close to restaurants and shops so there is plenty to walk to. During the summer, the city has a "woody" shuttle that runs on the peninsula and stops a block away. **Casa 229 has plenty of ceiling and floor fans and a portable AC unit when needed. We are in a mild climate. Bring your fishing poles! The main pier is for fishing and our small dock is for loading/unloading passengers. There are electric and motor boats for rent at the Pavilion. And there`s a great tot lot on our beach. Parking: We have no alley in back (safer). Casa`s on 19th St. are serviced by garages in front. They will NOT take a Lincoln Nav size vehicle. They will a mminivan or smaller. Height is 7ft. Please unload before entering and pull in mirrors if needed.  Casita`s on 20th St: There is off street parking for 216A LOWER. This parking spot currently is accessed using the small short drive left or neighbors drive to the right. The parking space measurement is 8` 6" wide wall to fence and 23` deep (see pic in gallery) with a larger open area from fence to sidewalk.  The garage for Casita 216B UPPER on 20th St. will take a large vehicle with the height restriction of 7ft.
