You can enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch or take a short walk to the seating areas on the banks of the Roaring Fork River. Guests are welcome to fish our private portion of the river. There is a central fire pit and grilling area as well. Our cabin has one queen size bed, a trundle in the living room, and a full kitchen. The cabin is great for small families, fishermen or couples looking for a mountain get-a-way. Our guests love the convenient location of the cabin, right off of Highway 82. Because of the cabin’s proximity to the bus and main road, there is road noise. Dogs are welcome, and guests can bring up to 2 dogs. The dog fee is $35/night per dog. We also require a $100 refundable dog deposit in the case of damage or additional cleaning of couches/furniture. Dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the cabin. No aggressive dogs or pit bulls please. This cabin is a part of Snowmass Cottages. If the American Cabin doesn't meet your needs, we also have 6 other cabins and a log house available for rent on the property with the same amenities and views. Please inquire about group bookings to receive special discounted rates. *WINTER WEATHER: Because we are located in the Rocky Mountains, weather cannot be used as reason for cancellation. From November to March you must be prepared for winter driving conditions. No refunds will be offered* Guest access The cabin is a part of a larger property called Snowmass Cottages. There is plenty of river space for guests to share. There are picnic table areas and grills around the property as well. There is a coin-operated shared laundry room.
