The space The home is conveniently located about 10 minutes, by water, from Trident and Duskin Point Marinas (right in the middle). We’re also less than 5 minutes by water from the dam. There’s great fishing all around us, as we’re in year-round deep water. You can catch fish right from the dock as well. We purchased, and Alabama Power installed, a Ronk BLOCKER to reduce stray electrical currents. Please search Ronk BLOCKER for more information on this safety feature. Guest access We have a boat dock with a platform can be used for fishing or sunbathing. There is a brand new, covered boat dock with heavy duty walkway. Also, we have a Bennington pontoon with 115 hp motor available for daily rentals. Other things to note A recommended stop is S&S Foods if you need groceries. (You pass it about a mile after the Dodge City exit from I-65.) Otherwise, your only other option is the Chevron/Country Mall for the basics and pizza to-go. Bring an extra propane tank for cooking on the grill, if you’re staying for an extended period of time, to avoid running out. The house is located between two marinas, Trident and Duskin, and it’s 10 minutes away to each by boat. You pass Trident about 10 minutes from the house coming from I-65. They serve food and drinks and have live music sometimes.
