Our 640 square foot Log Cabin is located in the quiet community of Silver City, Rapid Creek flows past town and we are surrounded by the Black Hills National Forest, perfect for getting away from it all. We live a block away for easy answers to questions and any help you may need, we also have a cell amplifier at our home for any connecting you may need. Our 1940's Log Cabin is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, linens and towels, air conditioner and gas grill. You need to pick up groceries on your way. You get the entire cabin. We live a block away and are available for socializing anytime whether it is around our campfire or just sitting on our deck sharing happy hour. Our community has 15 full time residents and consists mostly of summer cabins. We are surrounded by National Forest and are a cast away from Rapid Creek and Pactola Reservoir. Deerfield Trail #40 passes by town and continues up Rapid Creek for spectacular hiking. You may come upon our local marmot, beaver, geese, deer, osprey and bighorn sheep. Keep your eyes open. We are located 5 miles off Highway 385, the paved road ends in SIlver City.There are 4 streets here and you are welcome to stroll around town and take in the sights of the quaint cabins mixed in with the modernized homes. We do not have Wi fi. We have limited cell service.
