Step back in time in our 1940's era log cabin! Sitting under a canopy of pines and hardwood trees on US 31, our cabin is the perfect homebase for exploring nearby Manistee & Ludington. Stunning beaches of Lake Michigan, Little Manistee, the PM, & Big Manistee Rivers, & Hamlin Lake are close by for swimming, fishing, canoeing, & kayaking. Hiking and biking trails, Big M, Nordhouse Dunes, Silver Lake Sand Dune rides, golf courses, Casino, snowmobile and ORV trails, skiing, wineries & farm markets. The space Our fully furnished cabin has everything you need for an extended stay. BR one has a queen bed, BR two has a double, and the loft bedroom has a double. The cabin has a full bathroom with tub/shower, living area with TV w/Dish cable, dining area w/table & 6 chairs, deck with table & chairs, gas grill, private fire pit area. Kitchen is fully equipped with coffee pot, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, crock pot, blender, spices, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Books, games, DVD's, board games, safety gate. Pack & Play & baby chair available upon request. Propane and electric baseboard heat. Portable air conditioning unit and large trees keep cabin shaded and cool. The cabin has 2 box fans and 2 tower fans. The cabin sits in a semi-circle formation on our property with our 6 other smaller Highway 31 Cabins. The cabins are private and do not share any common spaces. The cabin is located on US 31, which makes it convenient to travel anywhere in the area. Since we are roadside cabins, there will be traffic noise. NOTE: Our 6 smaller cabins are winterized & closed up from November through April, so you will have the property to yourself for your Winter/Spring stay. **PET FEE, $20 PER DOG, PER NIGHT. Max 2 large, or 3 small dogs in the cabin. Non aggressive breeds only. Dogs must be kept off bedding, kenneled when unattended, and on a leash when outside. Our cabin comfortably accommodates 6 guests, additional guests are $50 per person, per night, and must be pre-approved and paid through Airbnb. Guest access No contact check-in is available. Guests have access to the entire cabin, private deck and picnic table, and private fire pit area. Parking is available on site for vehicles, boats, and trailers. There is a strong Verizon and At&T cell phone signal at the cabins, but Wi-Fi is currently not available. Other things to note **PET POLICY: $20 PER DOG, PER NIGHT *Non-aggressive breeds welcome, per our insurance policy. *Dogs must be kept off furniture and bedding. *Dogs MUST be kenneled when left unattended inside the cabin and on a leash at all times when outside. **No Wi-Fi, but strong Verizon & At&t signals. *The cabin has well water and is safe to drink, but if you're used to city water, bringing your own drinking water is recommended* *No tents, hammocks, pop-ups, vehicle tents for extra people allowed * *We are family oriented with a 10 pm quiet time, no parties please*
