Make your Atlanta stay one to remember! 3 beds, 2 bath, fully stocked kitchen with 6-stage reverse-osmosis water filtration system, honesty bar, original art by local artists, a putting green(!), musical instruments, IQair for medical-grade pure air, Peloton bike, fireplace, what more can you ask for? The space The “Cabbagehouse” is much like Cabbagetown - lovely and traditional, with a positive, creative energy. As a bonus, the house was completely rebuilt in 2004, and is clean, tidy and feels brand new. This is our home - we live here most of the year, but love to travel and work remotely from time to time - if you're seeing this listing, know that in this case you aren't displacing a neighbor or pushing up house prices etc by choosing to use Airbnb. The great room features a grand piano - among other musical instruments - an open kitchen and dining area, a fully stocked bar, and a spiral staircase leading to a cozy loft (third) bedroom that opens onto the great room (behind a "plant wall"), and has a work-out area with a Peloton, weights, and yoga-mat. Downstairs, you’ll find a master bedroom and ensuite (with a large walk-in closet), and the second bedroom and bathroom. The house has a laundry room and closet - which you’re welcome to use. Outside, we have a front porch with chairs and a porch swing. Out back, we have a new screened in back porch with a built-in bench and a large table for outdoor dining or work + power outlets, a hot tub with color changing lights and an inbuilt sound system inside the screened porch, a patio with a table and chairs, and a putting green!! Behind the putting green is yet another seating area (one of many different spaces to work/relax!) with a deck, lighting and jasmine winding its way up the pergola. The house also has a driveway with off-street parking for up to 3 cars (particularly useful in historic Cabbagetown!). IMPORTANT: Please read the rest of the listing description including the "Other things to note" section prior to booking! Guest access You'll have full access to everything in the house, garden, porch, putting green - except for a locked closed in the second bedroom. This is my primary residence for part of the year so please treat it as you would your own home. Other things to note The house is also my residence when I'm in town - meaning you'll have everything you need in a house for it to feel like your home-from-home (fully stocked kitchen, games, entertainment, spare bathroom, kitchen, laundry products etc)! However, please note that it is not suitable for parties of any sort and for safety and community reasons, guests not on the listing are not allowed inside the house without prior approval. The house has a television in the loft area. WE DO NOT HAVE CABLE TV unfortunately - however, the TV has a Chromecast attached - simple to use and with detailed instructions printed, just in case. You can easily watch shows from your own Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go etc accounts, or any other shows/movies you access from your laptop or a chromecast-enabled app on your phone. We have a 6-stage, reverse osmosis, alkaline-up water filtration system in the kitchen that gives you super pure drinking water through a separate tap. Forget the Brita - this is a game changer! We also have an IQair filter in the master bedroom (that you can move if you need to) that provides medical-grade clean air while you sleep. Also, please make sure your profile is completed before attempting to book (including work, education, location, a bio, and a photo - I don't see the photo until after booking and don't care what you look like, but it's helpful upon check in so we know the person who booked is the person staying at the house!). Airbnb is a trust-based system, so we need to know who is staying in our house! PETS: In certain circumstances I can also accommodate your well-behaved pup - please message me prior to booking if you are planning on bringing a dog of any kind with as much detail as possible. For short term (and most long-term stays) there will be a pet fee depending on the length of stay, number of dogs etc. IMPORTANT: Please message me by pressing "contact host" prior to booking if you plan on inviting any guests not on the listing to the house at any time during your stay (in most cases this isn't an issue at all i.e. you have a friend in town, are traveling with colleagues who are staying nearby, or are hosting a holiday dinner with family in town - but for security and neighborly reasons I need to know up-front, or as your plans evolve). Also - if you are booking a longer stay, please message me prior to booking so we can make sure it's a mutual fit for your stay. Finally, (and it KILLS me to have to even write this), but there is a $350 emergency cleaning fee if the hot tub is left in a mess and needs professional cleaning/reset. I am meticulous about making sure that the hot tub is crystal clear when you arrive, and provide clear instructions (and am always available by phone for any questions or to help out!!). Getting someone out to clean and the water/chemicals to reset everything is expensive if there are things like drinks being spilled or other activity that damages the water to the extent that the water needs to be replaced & the tub cleaned.
