Park Rapids - Big Sand Lake Waters Edge Cabin

Looking for a true getaway that reminds you of the vacations you took when you were a kid? Big Sand is one of the areas premier fishing and recreational lakes. 1800 acre lake with 35 foot water clarity, hard pack sand bottom, gradual slope out and no weeds!! Fantastic swimming off the end of the dock. The cabin is a rustic two bedroom with a deck and lakeside fire pit. The space Beautiful setting among towering white and red pines, right on the water, with a rustic fire pit overlooking a natural rocky shoreline. This cabin faces west for the best sunset views in Hubbard County. There are no hard-wired phones. The cabin is not handicap accessible, and people with mobility issues will find the steps difficult. There are 35 stone steps down to cabin and waters edge. The cabin is part of an old resort, so there are nearby neighbors and we kindly ask that you respect their privacy if they happen to be in residence. Guest access Cabin, lake, dock, and fire pit! We have a canoe and 2 kayaks for you to enjoy that are included with the cabin rental. You will need to bring your own firewood and charcoal for the grill. There is also a a 20-foot Premier pontoon boat with 60hp motor available to rent Motorized boat rental will be charged outside of Airbnb - please contact Jim - the owner/property manager for details.
