To keep you and the bears safe: Never feed the wildlife. Secure all trash in the bear-proof bins provided. Lock your car doors at all times (bears here are experts at opening handles!). Enjoy these majestic creatures from the safety of the deck. 🐞 Seasonal Mountain "Visitors" Our cabin is professionally treated for pests; however, you may encounter Ladybugs or Millipedes during your stay. These are a natural part of the local ecosystem and are harmless. Because they are beneficial to the mountain environment, specific chemical treatments are restricted. We appreciate your "mountain-style" patience with these tiny neighbors! 🧼 Five-Star Cleaning Standards We partner with a premier local cleaning company that utilizes hospital-grade protocols: Hot Tub: Fully drained, scrubbed, and refilled with fresh water and Bromine for every arrival. Linens: All bedding and towels are processed in high-heat commercial facilities. Sanitization: Our team utilizes Micro-Ban™ and Lysol™ on all high-touch surfaces. A specialist performs a final inspection before you check in. 🔥 Seasonal Fireplace To keep things cozy, the fireplace is available for use from October through March. It is operated by a simple, user-friendly timer located on the right-hand side. ❄️ Weather & Road Safety Mountain weather changes rapidly. Please note: Cancellations due to weather are not permitted. We highly recommend travel insurance for winter stays. Winter Requirements: If snow or ice is in the forecast, 4-Wheel Drive or Snow Chains are strictly required to navigate the mountain roads safely.
