JB STR 23-00083 The space Situated on a large canal that leads directly into Galveston Bay and only minutes from the beach, our location makes it easy to spend every day of your vacation on the water. Multiple decks provide plenty of outdoor, waterfront space great for dining and relaxing. Trex Decking and a child safety gate mean less concern and more comfort while enjoying the view. The ground floor includes a dock, boat slip, outdoor shower, fish cleaning station and underwater fishing lights. Upstairs on the first floor an expansive deck with a 7-piece dining set makes for great waterfront meals. A top deck that rises higher than most canal homes gives unparalleled views of a Galveston Bay sunset. Inside the house, you will find all of the features of a newly constructed, energy-efficient home – new appliances and fixtures; modern design with an open concept layout; up-to-date plumbing and electric; and a fresh, clean feeling throughout the house. Windows and French doors surround the living and dining space bringing in tons of natural light. The dining area includes a cozy built-in bench tucked under two large windows overlooking the deck. A full-service kitchen with custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked with dining ware and cookware. A custom-built multi-functional island provides additional storage, prep and dining space. Comfort and convenience were key when designing sleeping space. The master bedroom is privately located on first floor and includes a pillow-top king-size bed, smart TV and French doors that open directly onto a waterfront deck. The ensuite bathroom is a spa-like retreat with all the modern features found in new construction: open shower with glass enclosures, separate soaking bathtub, dual sinks and a walk-in closet. Upstairs, the second floor features plenty of additional space with a guest bedoom, bunk bedroom, and flex room. The guest bedroom includes a pillow-top king-size bed, smart TV, and a full private bathroom with tub/shower combo. Built-in bunk beds in the second guest bedroom make for a fun sleeping arrangement for up to four kids. Vaulted ceilings in the flex room make for another spacious living and sleeping space with a smart TV, sleeper sofa, and French doors that open up onto the top deck. Registration number STR23-00083 Other things to note Please keep in mind that this is our family's home. Please treat our home, it's contents, our neighbors and our property with respect. Our neighbors are fairly close on either side of the house. You may see and hear them when you are outside. However, once inside you will not be able to hear any outside noises thanks to our brand new, storm-ready windows and doors. ***Please note the PET POLICY in our house rules.*** Staying in Jamaica Beach on the bay side is ideal. You get the best of both worlds, the beach and the bay. The beach is minutes away and easily accessible by car, golf cart or bike. Our location on the canal means right outside your door you can swim, float, kayak, paddle board, hop on a boat and enjoy the calmer bay waters. The canal is also great for one one of our favorite family activities, fishing. Day or night, you can fish from the comforts and privacy of your own home. On days when the weather isn't great for being outdoors, there is still plenty to do. We like to explore the rest of Galveston. Our location on the west end of the island means we are about 20-30 minutes away from some of Galveston's popular attractions (i.e. The Strand, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn and Pleasure Pier).
