Stay in paradise. Surrounded by nature, kayaking, and fun. The Blue Moon is our largest Tiny House at 12’x20’. A cottage style with gable roof & loft, The Blue Moon has 1/2 bath but NO shower (showers in Community Bathhouse). There are 2 beds (1 twin & 1 Full)& a couch for sleeping, a large dining table & mini fridge. The Blue Moon has AC & heat. There is NO tv or wifi. Well behaved dogs are allowed with a $20 pet fee, cash please, per reservation. No smoking in our tiny houses. Come relax. The space The Blue Moon is built completely with salvaged materials. The flooring and ship lap walls came out of cotton seed warehouse in Quero Texas and includes a rare oval front door from the early 1900's. It is one large space with loft. Tiny Texas Houses Bnb is a unique experience different from any other place. Our Bnb is located on our 14 acre property which we now call Salvage Texas, which also includes the Tiny Texas Houses building site, “Manifestation Bay”. The Bnb guesthouses are just a small part of our sustainable living operations. All of our Tiny guesthouses as well as the Salvage Faire event center and market (currently under construction) are made with re-purposed materials from homes and barns throughout Texas, some as old as the early 1900s. The old structures were carefully dismantled and stored in our extensive warehouses, which now hold enough wood, doors and windows to build over 300 Tiny houses. Each tiny house is unique and lovingly constructed by our team of builders. All of the interior furnishings and decorations are also salvaged and up-cycled pieces from other projects. The result is a beautiful and one of a kind Tiny House in a rustic rural setting. Our Tiny guesthouses are a small demonstration of the methods and materials available to build affordable houses from functional and beautiful material that would otherwise end up clogging our landfills. Please watch your step. There will be wildlife on property. possums, armadillos, and others are around, use common sense if dealing with wildlife. Other things to note There are dogs and cats on the property but none live in the tiny houses. Please be aware of Texas wildlife including birds, snakes, and insects. We will ask you to sign a waiver before exploring. Please stay out of the warehouse, or other buildings, unless accompanied by staff.
