Camp is on Smith Pond only a short distance from Baxter State Park. Plenty of fishing, hunting, hiking and snowmobiling in the surrounding area. Fully furnished with Dish Network available. Excellent cell phone reception with a tower located across the pond. Sleeps up to 6-7 adults comfortably, 12 with children. Picnic table, propane grill and outdoor fireplace onsite. Large lot with plenty of parking and room for trailers as it has access to the maintained ATV and snowmobile trails. This camp is cozy in the winter and is heated by a kerosene monitor heater and a propane fireplace. The water is lake fed. We will have town water available for cooking and/or drinking. Please bring your own bottled water if you prefer. Your pets are welcome as we have several that enjoy the space as well. We ask that you please bring a bed for them as we do not allow them on the beds. Also please pick up after them prior to your departure. We will be available anytime for your needs. We also respect your privacy so will not come around unless needed. We are located only 5 minutes out of Millinocket which has several restaurants to eat in or take out. The Big Moose INN and the River Drivers Restaurant are a 15 minute drive further up the road if you prefer a more upscale menu.
