My little red Lake Cottage is located on pristine Sebec Lake in Piscataquis County in the middle of Maine. Small and cozy with combined kitchen + dining room , 2 bedrooms, sitting room, bathroom and deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and lake wildlife - and it is only about 15 minutes from Dover-Foxcroft with various shops and quaint eateries. I am only 30 minutes away and will be available if you have any questions! My two-bedroom, one-bathroom little red cottage sleeps up to four guests. It has a queen bed and a twin bed, but also a tucked away mattress under the twin bed. Somebody could also sleep on the sofa if made up with sheets (not a sofa bed). Guests will have access to the entire cottage, including a private entrance, outside gas grill, refrigerator, gas range, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, Crock Pot, WiFi, and open living space. There is a window air conditioning unit in the main room. Please see all pictures for all details. My cottage is a stand-alone unit that belongs to a condo association. It is quite private with its own deck with lovely views and the cottage itself sits on the lake shore. The area in general has quite spotty cell phone service, but the cottage has very good WiFi. It sits on a quiet part of the lake with no noisy motor boat traffic, yet is quite close to the public boat launch on the other side/bend of the lake. So if you want to bring your boat, you can put it in the water there. The entire cottage I will only be a text or phone call away :-) Sebec Lake is one of the most pristine lakes in all of Maine. Great for swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, or just to sit by the lake side and take it all in. The town of Dover-Foxcroft is only about 15 minutes away with shopping and several quaint eateries. About 50 minutes from Bangor and about 1 hour from Moosehead Lake and Greenville. The cottage is set back a bit from the road, and across the main road is a truck yard, and you can see and hear occasional log trucks from the front of the cottage that is not facing the lake. No public transportation. Must have a car.
