The nearby resident-only lake access includes a pet-friendly lake in season. 🚗 Road & Winter Conditions The access road is a gravel/dirt road and is typically plowed and sanded in winter conditions. The land is heavily wooded and left in its natural state, so you’re welcome to explore the area if you’re feeling adventurous. The cabin is located about one mile up a well-maintained gravel road. It’s plowed and sanded as needed throughout the winter, and easily accessible year-round. We are pet friendly with a small one-time fee—pets are welcome to enjoy the space too! Please include the exact number of guests (and pets) when booking so we can prepare the correct amount of linens and towels for your stay. Other things to note This is a remote cabin in the woods, and part of its charm is the natural environment that surrounds it. Guests should expect the full North Woods experience. 🐾 Wildlife & Nature You may encounter wildlife such as moose, bears, deer, and small woodland creatures. On rare occasions, a mouse may find its way inside — we have preventive measures in place, but this can happen in remote cabins. You may also see flying insects like bees or wasps outdoors. We treat and manage them regularly, and if you notice any active nest near the cabin, we're happy to come take care of it. Ticks, poison ivy, and typical New England vegetation may be present on the property. Please take normal outdoor precautions when exploring the woods. 🛏 Loft Bedroom The bedroom is located in a low-ceiling loft that requires crawling to enter. It has a comfortable King bed and TV. 🔥 Fire Pit We don't supply lighters, so please bring one if you plan to use the fire pit. Firewood is sometimes on-site but not provided as a service. In winter, the fire pit may be snow-covered. ☕ Coffee Supplies A Keurig is provided, but K-cups are not included. If an issue arises, we respond immediately and make every reasonable effort to resolve it as quickly as possible. Temporary solutions may be provided while repairs are completed. Once an issue is addressed and amenities are available for use, refunds are not provided for resolved interruptions.
