This beautiful plantation house was built in 1885. She was renovated in the early 2000s and has managed to keep many unique characteristics throughout her years. You will have access to the front half of the home, front entryway, family room, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a relaxing parlor. This booking is for a private area in the home at $129/night. If you only need 1 bedroom, we have the Sunflower Room and the Ivy Room both listed individually. This beautiful homestead has been completely restored throughout. This guest area is furnished with beautiful Kincaid furniture. Wake to the song of native birds in the surrounding trees. There are 2 private guest bathrooms, both with shower, toilet and basin. Extensive grounds make for a calm break where you can relax on one of the swings on either end of the porches, upstairs or downstairs. There are also ceiling fans to create a light breeze. Feel free to walk the 7 1/2 acres. Guests may use the downstairs parlor. When the weather is nice, there are sitting areas in the back yard and on the upstairs and downstairs porches. Our actual mailing address is Greenwood. We are 10-12 minutes from Uptown Greenwood. Our town has a couple of free museums and many restaurants. We are located one hour south of Greenville, SC and one hour north of Augusta, GA There is a KJ's grocery store only minutes away from the house. There are many restaurants close by as well. We will have menus and directions available upon arrival. There are quite a few businesses close by such as Fuji Film, Ascend Performance Materials, Tianjin and more. There are several golf courses close by as well. 'The Links' at Stoney Point is less than a mile from the house. The Patriot Golf Club at Grand Harbor is only 8 1/2 miles away, as is 'The Golf Club' at Start Fort in Ninety Six to name a few.
