Relax in this renovated 1950's flat-top beach cottage in gorgeous Sandbridge Beach. This waterfront home, on a canal off the beautiful Back Bay, is an easy five-minute, two-block walk to the ocean and the perfect setting for your family beach vacation. With three king beds, a custom-built bunk room, two full baths, a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious backyard, saltwater pool, and all linens and beach gear included, it's got everything you need to spend quality time away with your family. The space Our family is so excited to welcome yours to this charming place. This home has been lovingly refinished and appointed with everything you need to feel l like you're really getting away. It comfortably sleeps six adults and four children and comes equipped with all bed linens, bath and beach towels, games and toys, a beach cart and sand toys, folding chairs for six, a beach umbrella, yard games, a gas grill, life jackets and puddle jumpers, a fire pit and many other amenities for your family's enjoyment. All you have to do is pack your clothes and pick up some groceries, and you'll have all you need for a relaxing time away. Please note: Pool is NOT heated and is open April 30 - October 30. Our maximum occupancy is 10, with a maximum of 6 adults, due to the bed and bathroom situation. Though our cottage has been completely remodeled, its 1950's layout has been preserved. Though it has two full baths, neither of them are en suite. The indoor fireplace is not operational, but you’re welcome to use the wood-burning fire pit out back! Our property is waterfront and features a dock you may use to access the Back Bay at your own risk. We hope you enjoy observing the many varieties of wildlife that call the Back Bay home, including Great Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, Osprey, Pelicans, turtles, and a wide variety of fish and crustaceans. Please be advised that the bay is also home to venomous water mocassins, so please exercise caution around the water. Use of stand up paddleboard and kayak are at your own risk. Sandbridge is on a barrier island, and the wifi can be finicky. We have worked remotely and our children have successfully attended school virtually from the cottage, but occasionally the signal goes in and out. As of April 2021, we upgraded to the highest service possible, but please keep this in mind when booking if wifi speed and reliability is very important to you.
