Relax. Rejuvenate. Refresh. Repeat. Hollytree Cottage is a cozy 400 sq ft retreat featuring a kitchenette, full bathroom, and a comfortable queen bed. Step out onto the charming balcony to take in stunning sunsets and peaceful views of the Saluda River — the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventure. The space Hollytree is the top floor of our converted Art Studio. Mrs. Kennedy told her husband that she needed a place to do her paintings in the winter so he built her a small building to the left of the main house. The Art Studio was originally two stories with a bridge access to the top store where Joanne would store her paintings and art supplies. Today, you still access the cottage across a bridge but now it is converted to a studio cottage with its own bathroom and kitchenette. The room is spacious and has a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains during winter and fall. During summer and spring you will enjoy the feeling of being in the treetops. The entire farm is open to your enjoyment. There is a campfire with plenty of firewood for a relaxing evening. Remember to take the trail located to the right of the well down to the river and to see the goats. All the animals on the farm are friendly and love to eat so bring any left overs with you on your walk. The farm is 12 acres of mostly undeveloped land but we do have a few trails and we are working everyday to improve the beach area. Smoking is allowed away from the buildings. There is a little spot on the main driveway. Parking is available and we have over flow - the general rule is park anywhere where you do not block someone else. We encourage people to get out and walk around the grounds but please try to be respectful of the other guests and their private areas. Mostly though just have fun. Guest access You can walk around the whole farm. Just respect the other guests privacy. Other things to note Pets are limited to 25lbs and there is a $50 pet fee but we do make exceptions for "good boys" (and girls).
