In Seward, NE, 19 mi west of Lincoln, 10 min from I-80. Family friendly. Quiet area. Off-street parking. Easy .6 mi walk to restaurants & shops, 1.3 mi. to Concordia U. Two bedrooms: 1 queen, 1 full. Air mattresses, cot, PackNPlay for added guests. Large back yard. Patio with table & seating. Books, games, smart TV, washer/dryer. HVAC w/allergy/virus filter. Dogs welcome, small fenced relief area. House is apprx. 100 yo, clean & cared for with a few nicks, cracks & creaks for authenticity! The space This is an older home and the rooms are small, but cozy. It was built in the 1930's and has lovely hardwood floors. You have access to the off-street driveway (as well as on street options), the patio in back, and the yard which stretches back to the treeline. To ensure your safety, there are exterior security cameras. The basement although unfinished has a washer/dryer for use. Guest access The neighborhood is quiet. The driveway allows for off-street parking. There is a residential home to the north and a school vehicle lot to the south. (Busses are active on school days.) The patio and yard aren't fancy, but they allow for privacy and space to entertain, play, and exercise pets. If you walk one block to the south, you will find the community walking trail. You will have access to the entire house sans the utility rooms in the basement. The basement with washer and dryer is unfinished. Other things to note We have installed high quality filters on the HVAC to help with allergen, virus and bacteria filtering. We use a HEPA filtering system and fans to ventilate between guests. We have security cameras that monitor the driveway should you wish to park a moving vehicle. Street parking is also available. When doing your review, we ask that you remember that this is an older home and in a semi-rural community. You will find this pet-friendly home is clean and well- cared for, but it’s not a high-end, sterile urban studio and it’s not a cookie cutter suburban home. It truly is like many of the lovely homes in our historic community—cozy, and comfortable. If you bring more than four guests, you will be using the main living area and the cot, sofa or mattresses for additional sleeping.
