We offer a bright, simple, Scandinavian inspired, 2 level, attached studio including; a spacious living area with kitchenette, a private bathroom with tub, and stairs ascending to a cozy full height loft sleeping space with a European queen size bed. There is a private parking space available and from there the entrance to the Studio is through a private gate, down a few steps and through a garden area. There is patio seating and an outdoor shower to rinse after a day at the beach or a hike. The space Our space is bright and simple. It is tucked under the oak trees in a naturalistic area. We lived in Scandinavia many years and the design of this space is inspired from there. It has a spacious living area with vaulted open beam ceilings with an upper loft. The room has a small dining table and a large comfortable couch. There are French doors opening to the oak covered back yard. It is tranquil and private. There is a mini kitchenettet in the space with a sink, fridge and freezer, electric kettle and all that is needed for making coffee or tea. And there is a microwave oven to prepare simple meals. in a minimal way the kitchen is equipped with cutlery, bowls and plates, cups and glasses, wine glasses, cutting board, kitchen towels, if you need anything in particular you are always welcome to send a message and ask. From the main room there is a private bathroom with tub. Santa Barbara is constantly under a drought and we ask our guests to be very water wise. The loft is large and very cozy. there is a window to the east. The bed is an IKEA queen size. All the bed sheets are 100% cotton. Our space in non-smoking both indoor and outdoor. The Santa Barbara Mission Canyon area is at the base of the hills and is very natural. There are no sidewalks or big street lamps. There are trees and rocks and flowers and the ground is covered by oak leaves.
