Due to its design and antiques the home is not suitable for children under 12. Historic cottage located on Mother Vineyard Road with private access to the Roanoke Sound across the street. The 1930's cottage was built by Robert Bruce Lennon (Kerry's Great Grandfather). Enjoy coffee on the cozy porch & admire the huge, old magnolia tree. Launch your paddle-board or kayak into the shallow sound. Bike downtown and to area attractions. Fully stocked, modern kitchen. Watch the sunset from the dock! The space New, open kitchen. Bedroom with vintage bathroom on first floor. Two bedrooms upstairs share new bathroom. Two new central heat and air systems to keep you comfortable year round. Hi-speed internet if you want to stay connected and cable TV with Chromecast and soundbar for video and music streaming. Guest access Across the neighborhood street Lennon Cottage Guests have use of the private deck and dock with access to Roanoke Sound. Guests can pass through the double gate, walk around the old outbuilding (that houses Adirondack chairs for your use) to the deck overlooking the sound. Steps from the deck lead down to the seawall and dock. The water is shallow between 2 to 3 feet deep so no diving is permitted. There is a lower platform off the dock to launch kayaks or paddle boards. Other things to note WiFi for work or play (or both): The cottage has high speed internet rated at 100Mbs. It tests at 120Mbs and according to Spectrum, the provider, it can handle 5-10 devices. And you can connect your devices to the LED flat screen TV in the living room with the Chromecast.
