This Norwegian-inspired sanctuary offers elegance with wood accents, exposed beams, and cozy gas stove fireplaces. Ideal for up to 8 guests. Entrances Front Entry – Make your way up the gently sloping boardwalk to the front entry. As you approach the end of the walk a right turn presents the Norwegian style front door and bell. Just off to your left is a quaint patio for morning coffee. Garage Entry – Entry through the garage will present you with options. Straight on through and you will find yourself in the bunk room. A left-hander will take you to the bathroom off of the bunk room. A right will land you in the laundry room which continues on to the kitchen. Front Patio - A quiet and quaint space for morning coffee out the front door. This is not the action side of the house. Game trails circle the property and deer and elk are often seen here. Back Patio - The back patio is phenomenal. The views are amazing. A grill is available and a table and chairs for four round out the space. See the pictures! Kitchen – The kitchen presents with natural finishes of maple and pine and plenty of natural light. Custom maple cabinets and solid surface countertops form a very functional galley kitchen that sports a seated workspace. Recessed ceiling lights and under-cabinet lighting ensure the space is well lit and useable. Appliances include refrigerator with ice-maker, range with cooktop, microwave, warming drawer, garbage disposal, etc. Smaller kitchen appliances include Keurig, mixer, toaster oven, processor, bender, etc. Utensils, baking pans, cups, plates, knives and the like can be found in the cabinetry. Dining Nook – At the end of the kitchen is a corner “breakfast” nook that can seat four comfortably. Two windows at the nook provide both natural light and amazing views. This is a great place to have morning coffee or take an informal meal. Office – Breathtaking views and access to the back patio make this a favorite spot to pretend to get some work done. A plenty big desk along with a beverage and wine fridge and access to the back deck provides options. The office is an open space concept and does not have a door for privacy. The office has a 32 inch Roku equipped TV that can double as a monitor for your HDMI equipped laptop. The office also has a wireless keyboard and mouse along with an HP LaserJet printer for those of you planning on trying to get some work done. Wifi router is also located here. Formal Dining – The formal dining area is designed for eight. Amazing views of Sierra Blanca abound. Exposed beams of natural pine and maple flooring keep everything light and airy. Decorative lighting and a smart buffet table provide functionality with a hint of sophistication. The Bunk Room – The aptly named bunk room has four adult sized twin beds in a 2 bun bed configuration. It also has an Olhausen pool table and a wall mounted TV which makes it a popular place. The one downside to the bunk room is that it does not have closet within the room itself. There is a storage closet just outside of the bunk room. This room has two entrances, both of which have doors and the room can be secured for privacy. The “bunk” Bathroom – A full bath that is adjacent to the Bunk Room. A glass enclosed shower, ceramic tile and large pedestal wash basin make this space more substance over style. Laundry Room – Outfitted with new high capacity washer and dryer the laundry room sits between the garage door, the kitchen, the Bunk room and the Bunk room bath. The room functions as a mud room and jacket collector with hooks aplenty. Garage – Water Softener and auxiliary water shut off are located here. The door is automatic open and close. One cool feature of this garage is that it has a big wash basin and faucet! Living Room/Den – Exposed beams, maple floors and stone surround fireplace synergize to make this a special place. A beautiful and functional thermostat controlled gas fire place make both warmth and ambiance easy to achieve! Built-in bookshelves and comfortable recliners might make this a reading room for some. While others may enjoy a glass of wine beside the fire. A puffy sofa is available for couch potatoes. While we highly recommend limiting screen time, a 60" Roku equipped LED TV is available in this room. While we do not have cable TV service. A DVD player is available and WiFi is provided for those who have their own streaming subscriptions. Master Bedroom – In this case the term master actually means something. It denotes space, views and well, more space and more views. This master sports a comfy king bed and maintains its own “den” or “sitting area”. The sitting area has a sofa bed, a recliner, a TV, a thermostat controlled gas fireplace. Did I mention views? The master has plenty of closet space and a hearty dresser for foldable clothing. Maple floors, exposed beams and natural finish furniture compliment the space. Master Bathroom – The master features custom cabinetry and porcelain tile finishes. There is a spacious walk-in shower, a separate jetted tub, and two separate sinks. One is an oversized pedestal and the other is drop in counter sink. There is plenty of space in this bathroom and all sizes of towels are available in the cabinetry. Guest Bedroom – The guest bedroom is of solid size and sits conveniently in the central part of the house. A comfy king with matching night stands and lamps face a good sized closet. The view from this room is of the front of the house and overlooks the front patio area. Guest Bathroom – This bathroom sits directly adjacent to the guest bedroom in the center part of the home. It is a full bath that features a bath/shower a large pedestal sink and a sweet view. Towels of many sizes await the completion of your shower or bath. Full access. Available by phone at all times.
