The fully stocked kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook your own gourmet meals: pots, pans, spatula, egg beater, can opener etc. Gas range and oven for plenty of cooking power. The over-range microwave/range-hood combo vents the exhaust to the roof via a duct. Streaming options are: Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, HBOmax, StarZ and VUDU. You can also connect your laptop to the Home Theater. The surround sound system is fully decked out in 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos configuration, which is the highest standard for home theaters. The Yamaha digital piano (CLP-635) keeps your fingers busy even during your vacation. Gather around the pool table for a friendly billiard game to the tunes playing out of the bluetooth speaker nearby. The Board-game and Reading area has two single sofa-seats facing each other, with a coffee table in between. A few board-games are provided on the bookshelf. The pool table and board-game / reading area are located in the garage, which is used as a carpeted entertainment space. Please park your car on the driveway. The driveway is extra-wide for easy parking of two cars. The neighborhood has plenty of extra parking if you ever need it. Laundry: Washer, dryer, ironing board and iron, detergent, softener and laundry basket are all located in the spacious laundry area downstairs next to the pool table area. Bedroom 3: two twin beds, Laptop desk. All mattresses are memory foam mattresses. In the very spacious Home Theatre and piano room, we also provide two 6-inch thick queen size folding foam mattresses just in case. Step into the terraced garden. You never know what you’ll see here: you may see hibiscus, lavender, chrysanthemin, sunflower, lemons, cherries, tomatoes, poppy, mint, lily etc depending on the season. The garden is frequented by many birds, including hummingbird, finch, stella jay etc. The entire garden is on automatic drip irrigation and the plants grow REALLY well. You can enjoy the garden sitting in the two seating areas: one in the first terrace level, the other at the third terrace level, where you can see the Santa Cruze Mountains that separates the Bay Area from the foggy Pacific coast. Sometimes, you can see the fog rolling over the top of the mountains, like a silky blanket. At night, the garden is warmly decorated with solar-powered accent lights. The front yard grass and the terraced-garden backyard are maintained by professional landscape service. Once every two weeks the landscapers come to mow the lawn and blow-sweep the backyard. Note that they will be in the backyard and frontyard to perform their job but they will not enter the house. There’s a hiking trail within just a few minutes of walk from this house. The trail leads you to a summit with views of the Bay and airport. Guest access The entire house, backyard, front-yard, driveway parking. Completely private and detached. Other things to note House rules: ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES (will result in immediate eviction with no refund). No events, No parties, No video production, No exceptions. No smoking ($500 fine) Maximum occupancy of 6 is strictly enforced. Each additional guest will be charged a penalty of $50 per person per night. Only Registered Guests Are Allowed, please be very clear about the number of guests when booking, including non-over-night guests. Please take off your shoes and leave shoes on the shoe rack No excessive noise please. E.g. blasting noise in the backyard is NOT allowed. No illegal activities on premise (will result in immediate eviction) Damages caused by guest will be billed to guest. Check in time: 4PM ; Check out time: 11AM. Early check in and late check outs can sometimes be arranged but not guaranteed. Please be respectful to cleaners, who may come right after check out time. Also please be respectful to the next guest, whose check-in may be delayed by the delayed cleaning. A late checkout without prior approval will result in a penalty charge of $200/hour to cover the penalty and compensation for cleaners and the next guest. Fireplace is for decoration only, do not use fireplace. NO Barbecue. No fire of any kind. Exterior security camera disclosure: Out-side of the house, on the wall facing the street, there are two security cameras, they point toward the street. They can see the grass, driveway, the street and the sidewalks. NO security camera elsewhere on this property. NO security camera inside the house. NO security camera in the backyard. Maximum rental period is 28 nights (including extensions). Longer rentals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and would require signed lease if approved. Garbage day is Thursday. We'll move the garbage bins to curb Wednesday afternoon/evening and move them back on Thursday. Let us know if you'd rather do it yourself.
