My place is close to family-friendly activities, the beach, the bay, the ocean. We are a 20 minute walk to Ocean Beach and Fair Harbor where local stores, markets, restaurants and night life take place. We have all the amenities. We have towels, sheets, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach games, etc. The north and south decks both have tables to use for outdoor dining. This comes in handy when the wind is blowing from the bay or ocean. One side is always tranquil. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, the ambiance. We have a brand new house thanks to hurricane Sandy. We have the only indoor outdoor shower in Atlantique. That's right! You can take an indoor shower and open the doors to view the bay and a lovely wall garden on our deck. We also have an outdoor shower for those who like to see the stars while bathing. The house has an awesome sonos system, direct tv, and wifi. . My place is good for couples and families (with kids). The shed below the house is off limits and the wine cellar is not for renter use. You can always reach me by phone and I have several close friends that live in the community all summer long if you need specific attention. I also have a wonderful contractor that can assist if anything should need immediate attention in the house. Atlantique is unique in that it is the narrowest part of the island. Bay and ocean are only 2 city blocks away from each other. We have an energetic community of volley ball, surfers, and beach bocci players. It is the type of place that you put your suit on in the morning and find yourself grilling in it at night. The vibe is truly wonderful and it is a place where you can get "deep island", as us locals call it when nothing else matters and you can get lost in the tranquility around you. Atlantique has only sand roads and getting around is not easy for someone who has difficulty walking. On the other hand, it is awesome for feeling like you are on the beach 24/7. We can arrange for a golf cart pick up from the ferry. The walk to the house from the ferry is about a quarter mile (part of the way through sand). We have a large marine cart to carry your luggage or we can work out a pick up with someone who has a golf cart for a nominal fee. Once your at the house you are a rocks through from the beach.
