Great Hiking Out the Door, Skiing Just Up the Road

Uniquely situated near Golden, it's a five-minute walk to South Table Mountain. With a huge array of hiking trails and a flat mesa overlooking metro Denver. Easy day-trip to ski in Summit County, Copper, Winter Park. Yet 15 minutes to downtown Denver, 10 minutes to Red Rocks. Newly built in 2016, this spacious place can accommodate eight in comfort. High ceilings, oak floors, granite counters. Great for gatherings. Well separated bedrooms are quiet, private. High-speed wi-fi, cable/streaming. The space Golden itself is a great little town, 12 miles from Denver yet a world apart. Its cool walking/shopping district has café’s, breweries, and bike shops. With a college town vibe thanks to the Colo School of Mines, and river kayaking right thru downtown. But being in the thick of all that isn't for everyone. Our house sits in a secluded mountain valley—dark, cool, and quiet at night—just 10 minutes to the Howdy Folks welcome sign. Guest access You'll have the entire house and two-car garage to yourself. Other things to note Pets: Dogs are OK, and the back yard is big and fully fenced. Animals must be be well behaved and APPROVED IN ADVANCE. When you inquire or book, tell us the number of dogs and their breed, size, and age. We may require a small pet deposit or (worst case) disallow the dogs. We've hosted many dogs and haven't had a serious problem yet.
