This is the quintessential DC rowhouse garden-level apartment. Guests will enjoy a well-appointed suite focused on privacy, comfort, and convenience, nestled in an unparalleled location with nearby access to reliable mass transit and complimentary on-street neighborhood parking. The Capitol Hill neighborhood is beautiful, historic, and perfectly situated for people here on business or visiting for a tour of what DC has to offer. The space We live in the upper part of the house, so the suite is a dedicated space we have set aside only for guests - on the days we've blocked it, that's for our own friends and family. With that in mind, we want it to be clean, welcoming, and easy for all our guests to feel as much at home as they can! The living space is separated from the bedroom by folding doors and includes a 2-person dining table, office desk with rolling chair, kitchenette with toaster, Keurig and pods, sink, microwave, and mini fridge, and 3/4 bathroom (shower only). The smart flat-screen TV in the bedroom receives local over-the-air channels (no cable) and you can connect your streaming accounts to watch your shows as you wind down. Remember to log you out of your accounts when you leave! There are 3 closet doors that are inaccessible (locked). The stairs to the upper level are separated with a locked door at the head of the stairs and a curtain at the foot for mutual privacy and security. Also, there is a decorative, nonfunctional fireplace mantle in the bedroom. **EXTRA GUESTS / SEPARATE SLEEPING** Our suite is optimized for 2 guests sharing the queen-size bed, but we do have a twin mattress with frame for separate sleeping, as well as a pack and play and high chair for guests with very little ones. Just let us know if you need these when you book! Guest access You will have full, exclusive use of the garden-level suite during your stay, other than locked utility closets. Our living areas are completely separate, and with our contact-free check in and check out, you receive the lockbox details through Airbnb messages for a safe and private experience.
