Description
Sunrise Bungalow, Family and Pet Friendly on beautiful Keuka Lake With its own private lakefront, this comfortable, cozy, 3 bedroom house has a warm feeling with pine paneling and high wooden ceilings in the main living area. Enjoy a lovely, large enclosed porch with skylight and outdoor deck with a small table and chairs. The main open living space includes a large kitchen with a picture window facing the lake. The landing has a fire pit. Pets welcome, $25/pet fee w fine for dog damage The space The house sits 40 steps above a private landing right on the water, with a dock and float, a seating area and a firepit. There is a canoe, a rowboat, and 2 kayaks. In addition to the dock, there is a gradual entry lake walk-in area. The kitchen has all of the usual amenities: stove, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee pot, toaster, as well as dishes and kitchen towels. Beach towels, regular towels and linens are provided. In addition to the four beds in the three bedrooms, there is a pull out couch in the enclosed porch. Built in the 1940's, this house has an old timey feel. There are a few different hanging out areas, allowing people to have some solitude or chat in smaller groups. In addition to the house and deck, there is a front lawn, the landing on the water, the dock and the float. Life vests are available down on the landing, including children and youth sizes. My parents added a shower as the original house did not have one. It has a small water tank and short showers are recommended. There are window air conditioners in each of the bedrooms and fans throughout the house. Guest access Guests check themselves in. They have access to the entire house and grounds, including a landing on the water. The water is accessible from the dock or you can walk in from a side area that has small pebbles underfoot. It is shallow for about 8 feet out and then gradually becomes deeper. A canoe, row boat and 2 kayaks are available for your use. There is a dock and float. Other things to note A small bathroom (just toilet and sink) is separate from the shower stall. The shower has a curtained dressing area. Take a folding chair in for clothes and close the curtains for privacy. We hope to remodel this in the near future. Please do not open the skylight-it doesn't close properly. Be sure to clean up after your pets and there is a charge for damage done by pets.
