We offer free bike rentals so you can enjoy our city like a local and get around easily. Come visit us. Your room is ready! The space We’re so excited to have you here! Our warm, tranquil room looks out on the back-yard garden popping with kale and lazy-days hammock just begging you to kick-back. Our Ainsworth Collective neighborhood offers the best of Portland outside your doorstep—from urban farms to world-class restaurants. BEAUTIFUL, SIMPLE BEDROOM We welcome you with a comfortable, queen-sized, real bed with plenty of pillows and blankets to suit your sleeping style. The bedroom is furnished with a dresser, shelves stocked with your fresh linens and easily accessible outlets near the bed-side to charge your devices and still easily access your phone. The bed stand has a lamp for night reading and holds our Ultimate Guide to Portland. There’s also a full closet stocked with plenty of hangers and two windows provide fresh Oregon air and plenty of light. HOME SWEET HOME You’ll have access to a full kitchen, back covered patio, gas grill, washer and drier, fireplace, as well as a full bike shop! We’re also happy to share the abundance from our garden with you—from fresh herbs to blueberries, it’s a special place. WORLD TRAVELED HOSTS THAT LOVE OUR CITY When we travel, we like to immerse ourselves in the culture of the places we're visiting. We want to help you have an authentic Portland experience by providing our Ultimate Portland Guide and make ourselves available for suggestions during your visit. We’ll give you the local’s take on Portland’s hidden gems. LOVELY NEIGHBORHOOD—CLOSE TO EVERYTHING The Ainsworth Collective Neighborhood is a small part of the Cully neighborhood and has so much to offer our guests. For nature lovers, our area includes a 26 acre park, three distinctive urban farms (including two herds of the cutest goats you’ve ever seen), a fantastic farmer’s market and plenty of walking and biking opportunities. For the urban adventurers there are two award-winning restaurants in less than a mile, excellent brew pubs featuring Pacific Northwest’s finest beers, record stores, and coffee shops featuring world-famous Stumptown Coffee. TAKE A RIDE… Our neighborhood and all of Portland is made for cycling! We have two guest bikes with locks, lights and helmets for exploring Portland on two wheels (please check availability). Bike #1: Good for someone 5’- 5’7” Bike #2: Good for someone 5’7”- 6” While the use of the bikes is free, we do require you to have a valid credit card and sign a liability waiver. If you want to bring your own bike, we have a fully functional bike shop in-house and we welcome you to ship your bike here. You can hire Tori (she’s a professional bicycle mechanic, teacher and owner of Gracie’s Wrench) to build your bike on arrival or to box it up when you leave. We’re also happy to point you towards our favorite mountain and road biking destinations in the area. Tori also offers classes in bike repair, one-on-one riding skills and Dan and Tori offer riding tour packages to guide on the very best of our road and singletrack trails. Just let us know when you book the reservation and we can make arrangements and help with bike rentals if needed. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Our home: is 10 minute easy drive from the airport (less than 3 miles) is 5 minutes from the Alberta Arts District (1 mile) has ample, safe parking is .5 miles from two main bus lines offers reliable bicycles for exploring (contact for availability) MEMPHIS (THE DOG) Memphis is our sweet mutt who will greet you like you’ve always lived here—with a wagging tail and a wiggling booty. We’ve spent many hours training her into an extremely well-behaved and polite dog who does not jump (unless invited), barks very rarely and who will gladly cuddle or play with you any time of day or night if invited. If you’re not a dog person, she will respect your distance and is happy most days to snooze on her bed. PEACE AND QUIET While we love to share our home with visitors we also value privacy. We’ll make sure you're comfortable by giving you a tour of our home and amenities then leave you to your own adventures.
