Sites are along the Mahanoy Creek. Surrounded by Large Hemlock trees. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table. There is a mountain spring that runs year round, but gets slow in late summer. There are trails into the mountains but can get steep at some points, there is a railroad bed for easer hiking. That trail is not long. The noise of the creek can be heard from the sites but is not overpowering . There is fresh water available at farm house. The space Campers can use creek, children should be supervised while in creek. Pets should be contained at all times,not going into others sites or interrupting others camping experience. Guest access Port a potties are for guests use. Guests can park on site if they have AWD. There is room for one car/truck. Other things to note There is firewood for $5.00 a bundle and 1gal.jugs of drinking water for$1.50 available at check in. There is a Kayak rental close to the camp sites. shuttle services available. They can handle groups or singles but I highly recommend advanced reservations.
