Bohemian Guesthouse w/ Private Garden & EV Charger
Description
How would I summarize the guesthouse and the location? Hmmmm, well, just three words. PAR--A--DISE :) COVID INFO: I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. The space I bought this amazing place in 2011. I am a city girl but when I saw this place it was love at first sight. I have been getting in touch with my inner country girl ever since. Check out IG boho_idyllwild_cabin for more photos and information. The daily rate is a special deal! It includes a stocked "mini-mini" refrigerator (on day of arrival) plus coffee, tea and plenty of fun snacks. Kitchenette (no stove) also includes, Keurig coffee maker (and variety of pods), electric kettle, microwave, toaster, convection oven, hand blender, omelette-maker, mini crock pot, George Foreman grill, smoothie blender and electric single burner. Other modern conveniences such as a smart tv (so you can watch Netflix) and free wifi is included. Cell phone reception can be a little spotty at times since we are in the mountains...consider that a gift :) . You'll have everything you need for your entire stay! We even have a wireless charge pad for you. Movies are also available and included in the daily rate. All linens, towels, shampoo and conditioner (the good stuff), soap, and other bathroom essentials are also included. Spa-like shower (no bathtub). There is a queen bed, two window beds, and a couple of comfy fold out bed mattresses (stored in the closet). There is plenty of room for two to spread out. (Extra charge for additional guests.) House-trained dogs (two pooch max) are welcome. Private garden is enclosed, but dog/s must not be unattended in the garden (we are in the wilderness) or left alone in the guesthouse. We want your wonderful pets to enjoy their stay, too. Doggy beds, doggy dishes, toys, and treats are in the guesthouse, too. Nurse your morning joe while seated on the deck or under the rooftop patio in the private garden or enjoy a nap on the hammock or chaise lounge. There is also a propane bbq in the private garden. In the Fall, pick green apples from the apple tree in the private garden. Please know that you are reducing your carbon footprint when you stay here. We have gone solar, and we have a recycle bin! Also, we use 100% bamboo toilet paper, so you are saving a tree one flush at a time. :) We also have an EV car charger available for a nominal fee. There is no smoking (anything) in the guesthouse/premises. COVID INFORMATION: I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Guest access The guesthouse is nestled in a quiet corner of Idyllwild, behind the Arts Academy in a cul-de-sac. It is off the beaten path, so there's no traffic and is just a stone's throw away from the creek. It is really lovely here. You are going to love it. I am sure of it. Other things to note In the winter, bring sleds for the kids. The backyard has an awesome hill for sledding. During warm weather bring your hiking boots, bikes and swimsuits. The creek is just a few yards away and when there is water (especially the Springtime), it is magical. There are many spots to splash around and plenty of places to lounge on boulders in "the Grotto". In the summer, the creek tends to run a little dry but the surroundings are still breathtaking. Walk into town (to get your steps in) or take your your bike...either way, the journey is scenic.
