THE SPACE: This luxurious beach home has an ultra-spacious, open-concept living/kitchen/dining area with full kitchen appliances. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (one shared & one ensuite). Sleeping Arrangements & Bathrooms ● Primary Suite: A cozy Tempur-Pedic king bed with a SmartTV, private patio with outdoor seating for two, ensuite full bathroom w/sprayer handle & large counter space w/vanity, full length mirror, and closet space with luggage rack, hangers, extra pillows, and extra fan. ● Second bedroom: Comfy queen bed with a cozy twin bed, a SmartTV, full length mirror, and closet space with luggage rack, hangers, games, and extra fan. Adjacent to main/shared bathroom. ● Third bedroom: Comfy bunk beds 1 full & 3 twin, a SmartTV w/dvd player & dvds, full length mirror, and closet space with luggage rack, hangers, extra fan, table top high chair, portable playpen, baby gate and small 5 drawer chest for additional clothes storage. Adjacent to main/shared bathroom. ● Shared bathroom has a full bathtub & shower w/sprayer handle and ample counter space. ● The home can sleep up to 9 people, but will be most comfortable with 7 or less people. Kitchen & Laundry ● 2 coffee makers: 1 pot & 1 Keurig. ● 4 crockpots (XL, L, M, S, XS); griddle, 4-slice toaster, blender & mixer. ● Glass refrigerator w/auto fill water pitcher & craft ice maker. ● All appliances are full size, including microwave. ● Lots of counter space w/a 9ft counter which allows for barstool seating for 4. ● All necessary cookware, utensils, dishes, glassware, & basic seasonings are provided. ● Basic cleaning products. ● Linens, bath towels & extra pillows provided. ● In-unit washer & dryer. For your peace of mind, we HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may arise before your trip. ● PET fee required=$100 + tax. Pre-approval required for all pets (2 max & no puppies). Must dispose of pet feces & hair, keep pets off furniture, crate pets when you are gone & sleeping. ***Texas House Bill 4164 states the penalty for people misrepresenting their dogs as service animals when they are not specially trained is $1000 and 30 hours of community service. This will be enforced at our home. ● Upon booking our property you agree to all House Rules listed on this site & agree to update site to list all guest names and ages, within 48 hours of booking. ● Rules include: must be at least 25yrs to book, no events/parties/large gatherings, no bachelor/bachelorette parties, no homecoming/prom/graduation/teen or chaperoned groups (if this is your intent, please look elsewhere), no smoking inside or grilling on any decks, quite hours are 10 pm-8 am, if exterior cameras are covered or unplugged, your reservation will be cancelled & you will be required to leave without any refund, etc. ● BATH ITEMS PROVIDED: 2 rolls toilet paper, per bathroom, hand soap & basic cleaning supplies. ● KITCHEN ITEMS PROVIDED: 1 roll of paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, black trash bags (black bags are required by City Ordinance), basic spices & basic cleaning supplies. ● MUST BRING: ALL toiletries & beach towels--REMIND YOUR GUESTS! ● Additional items you may want to bring: extra toilet paper/paper towels, ziplocks/plastic wrap/foil, and, if needed, propane/charcoal/lighter fluid. ● Mosquitos/Bugs: The City of Jamaica Beach occasionally sprays for mosquitos but I recommend bringing spray. Also, we have an extermination company spray indoors/out for many types of bugs. Occasionally you'll find a bug (usually the palmetto bug bc we have a palmetto tree in the front yard). They live outside, but may enter through cracks, gaps, or plumbing systems, especially in search of moisture and food. This is common in warm, humid climates such as Galveston. ● Photo ID may be required upon check-in. ● Guests must be able to navigate stairs. ● COVID-19 SANITIZATION- Heath, safety, and wellbeing of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. THINGS TO DO! ● Visit the many nearby beaches! -- Stewart Beach is very family-friendly while Galveston Island State Park is more for guests looking for nature & adventure! ● Visit Moody Gardens & Aquarium Pyramid -- A massive complex with activities for the whole family featuring three glass pyramids: Discovery Pyramid, Rainforest Pyramid, and Aquarium Pyramid ● Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier -- Tap into your adventurous side at the Pier, packed with 16 rides and attractions like Iron Shark Roller Coaster, Pirate's Plunge, Galaxy Wheel, and Sea Dragon! ● The Strand Historic District --Consists of many Victorian-era buildings that now serve as the communities cafes, restaurants, galleries, & antique stores. In this area, guests will also find Pier 19, The Texas Seaport Museum, and the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig & Museum. ● Go golfing at Galveston Country Club! ● Take the kids to the nearby water park -- Schlitterbahn Waterpark!
