Roomy beach house with ocean view and easy access to a great shell-hunting beach. Be assured that we are taking extra precautions to ensure that surfaces are disinfected. The space We have broadband internet throughout the house and a large Smart TV. You can access all standard services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Vudu, ShowTime, Pandora, Spotify, etc. using the Smart Hub with your personal login information. We do not receive broadcast or cable television. The woodstove is not usable. We do not have a hot tub. Baby equipment is available and we have games for all ages. Come enjoy the deep tides and watch the great sunsets and the crashing waves of our famous Southern Oregon coast storms. Our upstairs deck wraps 180º around the entire front end of the house. The upstairs family room, dining room, and kitchen all have views through a full South wall of windows and two glass patio doors to provide a complete wrap around view of the beach, the Rogue Rock Reef, and the Pacific. Thanks to our neighbors, right across the street you will have access to our rather secluded 2 - 3 miles of sandy beach. It's great for beachcombing and exploring tide pools. There is also public access at the south end of the road. It is a quiet local beach and you can also enjoy flocks of plovers, sand pipers, and gulls, which will often just move out of your way and go right back to feeding. If you visit in November or March, stay especially tuned to the local papers and news media for whale migration. Mother whales and babies often pass right outside your window to feed and play in this shallow passage between the beach and the Rogue Reef. There is a laptop friendly desk in the corner or a bar counter right beside the Smart TV where you can plug in your HDMI cable and play all your own favorites on the big screen. The other “half” of the upstairs is a large Master Bedroom with a comfy corner for your privacy to nap, read or chat while you watch the beach, the reef, and the Pacific right out the patio doors. Downstairs are two quiet bedrooms both with queen beds, each with their own patio doors. The downstairs family room has two additional twin beds and a large room for the kids to play and exercise indoors. Please note that there is an extra fee if the total number of guests is more than eight. Also we maintain an allergen-free environment. Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on the property. And we have a strict no animals policy. Also, Curry County requires 10 pm to 7 am to be observed as quiet time.
