You also have easy access to the finest beaches on 30A surrounded by scenic dunes, and breathtaking beauty of Deer Lake Park whether you chose to take a nice bike ride or use the brand new Golf cart available for your convenience. Free shuttle service is also available in peak season. Across from the home is the HUB ( I encourage you to check the website. The HUB is a great venue for folks of all ages and is super kid friendly. the food is amazing and there is something for everyone. Local bands play weekly and kids and adult movies are shown during the week. Rest Ashored's location is 5 minutes from Seaside and 5 minutes for Alys Beach and Rosemary. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either. Walton Dunes - Walton Dunes is about 2 miles to the west at the end of Beachfront Trail. This is a Walton County beach access with parking and short distance to the beach. Santa Clara - Santa Clara access is a Walton County beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Beach Access to the East: Gulf Lakes - The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about .5 miles to the east of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed. Parking is not available, but makes for a great bike ride to the beach. Sea Breeze - Sea Breeze is a Walton County beach access that is just past the Gulf Lakes access. Parking and bathrooms are not available at this access, however, there is a shower.
