The grand duplex offers light filled spaces, and fresh updated kitchens in both suites. They are entirely separate spaces but would work beautifully for a very large family gathering if renting both sides. This side of the duplex home is the co joined twin of West Saint James Living. You will have an entire 1800 sq ft four bedroom home, with the exception of storage areas in the basement. There is a laundry room in the basement for your use as well. Private awning covered patio and shared garden space in the backyard. Usually your host will be around to assist you. If I am away I will arrange for someone to greet you and answer any questions you may have regarding the house during your stay. I live close by and am usually around a part of each day gardening if it's summertime. This is a beautiful older neighborhood filled with historic homes, built between 1905 and late 1920's. This duplex was built for two family living in 1919. Your Host purchased it in 2007 when she fell in love with the light filled spacious rooms, the gardens and awning covered patios. Within walking distance are many interesting restaurants, a bookstore and grocery store. Parking is ample in the driveway. Parking on the street is not permitted overnight, but at all other times. Close to University Circle and Downtown. Trains, buses, cabs, bicycle trails all closely accessible. There are wonderful walking/biking trails in the parks surrounding Shaker Lakes and Doan Brook. I do have a pack n play for each house and one high chair and child booster seat. Small house trained allergy free dogs are considered. Please ask your host for approval.
