Our newly renovated 6 bedroom Georgian colonial which sits on 40 acres with a private pond is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends. Come and see for yourself why our property is so special. Our unique home has many rooms to gather and enjoy. The grand kitchen has space for many to cook and enjoy making meals together. The kitchen is very well appointed with all you need to create memorable meals and gather with family/friends. The great room with a beautiful fireplace sits off the kitchen and allows people to relax yet still be included in the activities of the kitchen. The library is cozy room with a fireplace and a great place to relax. The back living room is yet another space to watch TV, or relax and talk. The playroom with a kids tv watching area lets little ones play and have their own space. The teen lounge on the third floor lets the older kids enjoy some private time as well. The gym, fire pit, front deck and back terrace with al fresco dining make this property unique. The guests will have full use of the house with the exception of the master closet (another closet provided) the closet in the kitchen and the guest house. Although I am not available in person if needed I have a local caretaker and I am always available by cell phone which will be provided. The house sits on 40 acres on a lovely road. Although there are other houses on the road each house has at least 20 acre lots so all homes are very private. the property has plenty of parking and guests do need a car to get around. food shopping is approx 8 miles away. The closest shopping town is Chatham NY which Great Barrington being second at 13 miles away. We are 30 minutes for Jiminey Peak and Butternut mountains and 15 minutes from Catamount.
