Pet Friendly Stable 2, 5 miles from Island Ferries

The stable rooms are individual (double occupancy) rooms with private baths. Built in 1880 the stables fronted with an open courtyard is where guests once mounted their horses to enter the marshy Lake Erie countryside hunting for ducks & pheasant. The dutch doors of the stable rooms are still in place to allow you to enjoy the country air! Enjoy the Lodge kitchen (coffee maker, fridge, microwave), sitting room (tvs), and vintage bikes to cruise around the property at your leisure. The space Millsite lodge's history goes back to 1880 when the multiple structures where "Millsite Farms" a farm situated along the "Race" of the famous Cold Creek which made it's way from nearby underground aquifers namely the "Blue Hole" into a large WaterWheel and Grist Mill. Midcentury, the lodge was converted to a country side retreat for the rich and famous of yesteryear... come and learn the rest of the story! Stable room 2 is pet friendly. Must pre register pet. Guest access Access is available to the 25 acres grounds of Millsite Lodge, with indoor fireplace and outdoor pit, Cold Creek Stream to walk along 3/4 of a mile or fish for trout $ and prepare your catch for dinner that evening at a grill. Game/ lodge room with wifi and tv, lawn games. 70 person dining room maybe pre scheduled with in house catering for group of 50+ Other things to note Stable 2 is pet friendly. Pets must be preregistered and a $25 per stay fee will be assessed.
