Our Quaint Cottage is located in an Historic Area about a 20 minute walk to downtown Nassau - Most of the main attractions are within walking distance of our Cottage. Including Bay Street, Cathedrals, & Parliament Square. This traditional Bahamian Residence is located in one of the original Subdivisions in Nassau, the main house was built in 1938. A true Bahamian Experience, walk to Bakeries, Historic Sites, the Marina, Harbour Bay and Paradise Island. Please contact us For Airport Pick Up. At 225 sq. feet all or 21 sq. meters. All of the amenities are included for your comfort and convenience. There is even delivery available for days when you don't wish to venture out. You will have access to the cottage and courtyard As the cottage shares common access with the main house and sits behind a walled yard you will feel at home. Buen Retiro is one of the original subdivisions in Nassau with many historic homes. On Saturdays you can sometimes catch a horse and carriage showing tourists around the neighborhood. Please note that although mostly tranquil the house is located just off Shirley Street the main thoroughfare to the Princess Margaret Hospital so you will hear sirens from time to time. Also Sacred Heart Catholic Church will ring its bells on many evenings at 6PM for Mass. From the neighborhood you can also hear the last call for all of the cruise ships in the Harbour. This is very exciting on New Years Eve. The Cottage is fortunate enough to have continuous sidewalks heading East towards downtown on Shirley Street and West on Bay Street.
