Your home away from home is close to IU campus and College Mall. About a 3 minute drive to College Mall and all the restaurants around the mall. About 7 minutes (2 1/2 miles) to campus. On the East Side of Bloomington in the desirable Hyde Park neighborhood. Over 2,100 square feet of clean and quiet living space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. This home is part of a 27 unit condominium complex called the The Village of Saint Remy. The complex is almost all retirees and I believe we are the only owners under 50. This particular unit is a part of a duplex and sits off in the corner offering great privacy. With the exception of the bedroom, we never close the blinds as the windows face an open field. You will have complete access to all areas of the home. The only exceptions will be that one of the kitchen pantries and the garage will be locked-out. We (Joe and Lisa) will likely be out of town during your stay. However, my brother David lives just five miles away and is available 24 hours a day. David will meet you when you check in to give you a walk through. He will give you the front door code for your to use during your stay. We also have a deadbolt for your added security. The Hyde Park neighborhood has plenty of walking trails in a beautiful neighborhood. Parking in the driveway provides easy access. We have our future renovation supplies in the garage so have that area locked off. Please take your shoes off when entering the home. We want to keep our floors clean for you and future guests. Please be sure to note the safety information. This includes that the fire extinguisher is located under the sink. If the smoke alarm or carbon monoxide alarm goes off, leave the condo and call 911. Safety is always the first priority.
