The Rookery, our upper level hemlock lodge, has 2 king bedrooms (one is a suite.) Both have lovely baths, with oversized tubs and shower. The full kitchen,3 patio doors lead to 50'x10' deck located 200' above the lake below. Barbecue on patio as well as a private outdoor fire pit. This is the perfect place for 2 Couples,girls retreat,family getaway. Peak season we accept bookings-2 couples at rate of $250 per rm per night. One couple @$250 for 4 nights or more. The space The Rookery upper level has 2 king bedrooms, each with deluxe bath, including 6' soaker tub and shower. Large equipped kitchen w/quartz counters, all new appliances. 50'x10' deck, lovely maple wood floors. Large glass fireplace. Barbecue on the outdoor patio, just off the kitchen. Enjoy one of our local brews or a glass of award winning wine and debate whether the daytime vistas or the magnificent nighttime light show (stars & Watkins lights) is your favorite. Other things to note Parking is available outside the rear of the house. Housekeeping: there is no daily housekeeping service. Linens and bath towels are included in the unit. Please bring beach towels as we do not permit towel or linens to be taken from the property. There is TV in each unit and find the remotes in each area. A/C Heating Systems- There are individual Mitsubishi A/C & Heating units located in each bedroom. Please review the remote instructions for the proper settings depending on the season. There is a backup propane furnace on the property. Please do not engage thermostats for the boiler, as the wall units do a very good job in each area. Water and Septic: The property is on a Spring Well and Septic systems. Water quality is protected via an infra-red and filtration system, and is regularly tested. the septic system is very effective; however, please DO NOT flush anything other than toilet tissue down the system. No feminine produsts should be flushed at any time. Pump Noise: You may notice the start-up of the pumps when draining tubs, etc. Due to our unique Clifftop location, the water , etc. must be pumped upward to the neighboring leech field.
