The house has multi-levels that includes a FULL second kitchen. By offering two kitchens you have double of everything including stoves, refrigerators, microwave, dishwasher and more. Our friends call the “BIG R” the "Tree House" because of the great views out of the windows. You can look down on the neighborhood while snuggled in our awesome reading nook or when hanging out on one of our front decks. We have one of the larger lots in Continental Country Club with great entertaining areas. Enjoy every season of the year in Flagstaff. We have beautiful summers with monsoon rains, our fall colors will blow your socks off, winter skiing is fantastic and the spring offers beautiful flowers and fresh air. We have a great sledding hill just minutes away from our home... it is top secret, but we will let you know about it when you book your stay. We even left a couple junk drawers for you, along with a party box full of supplies. We do allow well behaved dogs for an additional $50 per pet. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing a furry pet. Airbnb does not have a spot to register your dog. We have four parking spots on the driveway. No trailers are allowed as an HOA rule. The garage is not available for guest use. Per the City of Flagstaff and Coconino County Ordinance, we cannot permit more than 4 vehicles at this property. *Please remember you are in a neighborhood and you need to respect their quiet times. We really want you to enjoy your time in Flagstaff and we hope the "Big R" Lodge helps you do that! This listing is for the entire house. The house is decorated with big log beds and rustic furnishings. There are plenty of rooms with locks on the doors for your privacy. We also have security cameras for your protection. We will give you access to the house with a lockbox. A welcome book with house instructions will be waiting for you when you arrive. We will also find some items like spices and condiments in the fridge that may have been left by previous guests ... you can totally help yourself to anything you might need during your stay. We clean the fridge and pantries after each stay and only leave items others might like. If you decide to bring a dog, please leave your $50 pet fee on the counter. The "Big R" is five stories tall. It is built into the hill and you can walk out into the beautiful backyard. The home is located on a cul -de -sac so there is plenty of parking. If you have over 4 vehicles, please let us know so we can notify the neighbors and help you with parking options. During the winter from November 1st through April 1st you can only park on the driveway. The City of Flagstaff may fine you for vehicles parked on the street. The snow plows will also need to be able to access the street and they will not plow if cars are parked on the street. The garage is not available for guest use. Fires are Prohibited! If you try to make a fire in the yard, we will ask you to leave immediately and will not refund money. We will also charge a $500 damage deposit. Please respect this rule. We do sometimes allow early check in and extra fees may apply. We typically charge an additional $20 to $50 per hour for earlier check ins.
