This rustic 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin has a full kitchen, laundry, a fire pit & an amazing porch with mountain views. It is located less than 5 miles from downtown Bryson City. The living area features a fireplace, an Apple TV, wifi & a kids game area. The gravel driveway to the property is steep with one switchback turn. Tips for your peaceful stay: Enjoy dinner in town before arrival if you can. Bring some food/snacks with you for your first morning at The Bee Cabin. Enjoy a leisurely morning on the amazing porch with your complimentary local coffee while making your day's plan. There are several possible day trips within a 20 minute drive. You can also enjoy dinner out at one of the many area eateries after your adventure or grab some groceries at Ingles to create dinner for your group at home, or simply relax all day and take a night out on the town in Bryson City. This is a great place to be if you are trying to fit in a lot of activities. Fontana Lake & Dam as well Deep Creek tubing and campground are very close by. Both are great places to spend a day enjoying the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. You have full and exclusive use of the newly renovated and updated house, large porch and property. Please make yourself at home to enjoy the small yard, a private hiking trail, the fire pit (lots of dead wood in surrounding forest), and surrounding hammocks. The stars are amazing out here! There is a upstairs bedroom with a queen bed and there is also a queen in the 2nd bedroom downstairs and a full size pullout bed in the living room. There are 2 full baths. The upstairs bath has a tub and shower and the downstairs bath has a big walk in shower and also holds the full laundry area. We have a place 2 properties over that we will be at during some times of the year. Your comfort is our top priority! We are on call to answer any questions you may have and ensure that you have a great stay. We are just 2 properties away from the cabin and are available to assist you in your stay if needed. We are located in a quiet secluded neighborhood surrounded by mountains and dense forest. This is a fairly remote area that has quick accessibility to Bryson City and their many amenities. It’s a great private getaway. Neighbors are sparse & friendly, but respect one another’s privacy. Our property is just under 3 acres. Feel free to walk on our own private hiking trail or down the gravel drive below the home. The property is lovely. We are located less than 5 miles from downtown Bryson City & only 6 miles from Fontana Lake. It was also voted one of “Top Ten Outdoor Towns in the East”by Outdoor Magazine.
