The "Sunrise Cottage" is on the back side of this duplex, away from the street. It is less than 50 yards from the Gulf of Mexico, across the street and down a short path. Comfortable and quiet, the house has new heat and air, cabinets, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Smart TV, and wifi. It's perfect for families, for older people, or for a romantic getaway. No stairs to enter the house, it is on ground level! This cottage is 700 square feet of comfort and fun. Everyone who stays here loves the easy access to the beach, and the privacy of a back yard, too. You can sit on the lanai and listen to the waves or go inside to enjoy a cozy evening watching movies or TV. The mini-split airconditioner/heating system is super quiet and allows you to adjust each room's temperature separately. You will enjoy all the comforts of home, in an island paradise. Being on ground level makes it easy to bring in groceries, and step outside to grill your supper right outside the kitchen. Everything is more relaxed in this comfortable, updated cottage. You will have access to all parts of the Sunrise Cottage (screened lanai, living room, eat-in kitchen, both bedrooms and the bathroom. You can also use the area between the two lanais to cook out with the charcoal grill (shared with the other cottage of the duplex if it is rented). You have access to the yard and to the off-street parking in front of the duplex (2 spaces). I have two people who I can call to help you if needed; one is my handyman and the other is the woman who cleans for me. They can help in many ways, since they live nearby. This is an amazing location because it is mostly residential homes and guest houses, with very few motels or condos. At the same time, you are within walking distance of restaurants, pubs, convenience store, sports rental places, a nature preserve, 2 public beaches and beach access right across the street. This is a very special neighborhood! There is off-street parking only in the neighborhood. There is space for 4 cars in front of the duplex, and the sunrise cottage can use 2 of them. Many people bike and walk in the neighborhood, and there is public transportation on the mainland. There are often festivals or special things to do or see in Englewood, or nearby towns like Punta Gorda, Venice, and Sarasota.
