Historic Lakeside has been a vacation Mecca for over 100 years for folks wanting to breath fresh air and dip their toes into Lake Michigan. This renovated 1930s' cottage retains its' charm but has been refreshed with new windows, bathrooms, HVAC and flooring. The interior furnishings have been carefully chosen to be comfortable and casual but to hint at days gone by. You and your family or friends can choose either of two separate living areas. Watch your favorite shows in one room while others sit and chat or play games in the other. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee sitting on the front porch listening to the birds chirping. If you are lucky, you may see a hummingbird flapping its' wings furiously. Amenities include wireless Internet access, two widescreen flat front HD TVs, HE washer and dryer, linens and bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella, fire pit, paver patio, and Weber natural gas grill. The private yard has a dedicated area both at the rear and side for fun and games. Stored in the boat house are horseshoes, boce ball, soccer ball and nets and bikes. Visit the Farmers' Market, Vineyards, microbreweries, whiskey distillery, art galleries and casino. Rental rates and minimum stay vary depending upon the season. One week minimum rental in July and August. Shorter term will be considered based on availability. No need to worry about what to bring. Beach towels, chairs and toys are provided as well as indoor and outdoor games to play. Instructions on accessing the cottage will be communicated prior to check in.
