Fisherman's Wharf, a complex of shopping and restaurants on the water overlooks the Charlotte Harbor and is just a short drive. Sanibel Island, Venice, Boca Grande Beach or Manasota Key beaches are just a short drive away where shelling and sharks teeth abound for the taking.
