The Cottage is a fully renovated, 2-level Stibnite Mine cabin with 3 bedrooms in a forested setting near downtown McCall. It accommodates up to 6 people in 1700 sq. ft. of fun and colorful comfort. The home has three decks, large yard, fire pit, bicycles, float tubes for fishing, snow shoes & Zipfy sleds. Well equipped kitchen, bright dining area. Cable TV, DVD's and WiFi. A short walk to Payette Lake, downtown shops, dining and events. Bring all of your adventure gear for maximum fun! The space Please note: The Cabernet Cottage has a 2 to 4 night minimum stay depending on the season. Like a fine wine, the Cabernet Cottage gets even better with age! Furnished with a lifetime's collection and eclectic mix of old and new and a touch of whimsy the quaint and spacious Cabernet Cottage (a once upon a time historic, Stibnite Mine cabin) has all the creature comforts you’ll need for your family of six or a guys or gals alpine getaway to beautiful McCall. This three bedroom, one bath home has 1700 sq. ft of living space with lots of windows for natural lighting. Relax and enjoy the forested setting from any of the three decks. Spacious living room has lots of windows, side deck access and comfort amenities including clean, propane heat stove, CD player, reading library, puzzles and board games. Don’t forget, the TV has Cable and you’ll have free WiFi connectivity too. No need to bring a corkscrew, the Cabernet Cottage kitchen is completely stocked with dish and drink ware, utensils, cooking and baking aids, pots and pans. Fresh linens and towels (beach towels too!) are provided as well as body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer. Full size washer and dryer in basement. Iron and ironing board. This alpine cottage has three, private bedrooms. On the main level you’ll find the master bedroom with queen bed and another bedroom with a daybed and pull out, twin trundle. There is a full size bathroom with twin sinks, bathtub and shower that has both master bedroom and hallway access. At the top of the stairs you can relax in the “Loft” and enjoy the game on the big screen TV or choose a DVD from the Cottage collection and gather the family after a long day of play or on a snowy day. Just off of the "Loft" is another private bedroom with two twin beds; a perfect hideout for the kids! Grab your favorite beverage and blend into the filtered sunlight under the pines in an Adirondack chair out back in the large, west facing yard or you can just chill with a good book on one of three covered decks. A Gas grill, and covered prep area for the cook and a few onlookers is also out back. Get rustic and make use of the picnic table; dine outdoors under the pines. While the cook creates, everyone else can have fun playing a game of Horseshoes. On a chilly evening get together around the fire pit or Chiminea to share a story or two. Cabernet Cottage is located on a forested hillside and is a leisurely walk to Payette Lake and downtown shops, dining, events and area amenities.
