Summer cottage located in Linwood Park. Originally built in 1920, the cottage has been completely rebuilt and boasts 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, new island kitchen, ample dining, porch, & patio. Lake Erie beach is at the end of the street. Park has playgrounds, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, candy shop & art store (open seasonally) & more. Renters agree to comply with posted rules and are responsible for Linwood Park gate fees, if applicable, at the time of stay. Renters are expected to abide by the following rules: • Parking is permitted ONLY in the driveway directly north of our cottage or in non-reserved spots in the park. Please DO NOT park in the neighbors’ lots, on our concrete pad, or in any grass or "reserved" spaces. • No pets of any kind are allowed. • Occupancy of the cottage is limited to 12 people, including children. • Children under 6 years of age are not permitted on the upper bunks. • Due to weight restrictions, no more than one person permitted on each bunk at a time. • No smoking is permitted in or around the cottage • Alcoholic beverages of any kind are not permitted OUTSIDE of the cottages in Linwood Park. • No ball playing in the streets near the cottage. Please use the playground facilities and grove. • No “big wheels”, skateboards or other loud toys. • Please do not take any equipment (towels, blankets, kitchen items, radios, etc.) outside of the cottage. • Please use the grill only in its current location. Please clean grill following each use. Please refill the propane tank if it is getting low or empty. • Please be mindful of the heating and cooling system and ensure all doors and windows are closed prior to use. We appreciate your help in conserving energy. • Please take care not to track sand and dirt into the cottage. SAND SHOULD BE WASHED OFF OUTSIDE BEFORE ENTERING. Shoes should be left in the “sand room” off the driveway, or on the porch upon entering. • Trash collection is every Monday and Friday. ALL TRASH MUST BE BAGGED AND THEN PLACED INTO THE PLASTIC TRASH CANS. Unbagged trash will not be collected. Cans must be placed by the curb early the morning of collection. A small truck will collect the bagged trash, and transfer it to the trash dumpsters near the gate. You may take bagged trash to the dumpsters any time you wish. • You are expected to abide by the Linwood Park Rules and Regulations – a copy can be found in the cottage – and be respectful of all neighbors and visitors to the park. Renters are responsible for any Linwood Park Gate Fees, if applicable, during their stay. Renters are expected to leave the cottage in the following condition: • All towels clean, folded and put away • Sheets removed and placed in laundry baskets; beds remade with mattress pads, comforters and pillows • Kitchen and bathroom surfaces cleaned • Sand removed from floors and furniture • All furniture in its place • Dishwasher loaded and run • Broom swept • Trash BAGGED and placed in outside cans or taken to the dumpsters near the front gate Failure to respect the above rules or follow the posted checkout procedures may result in your security deposit being kept, and you will not be invited back.
