The Coral Cay community features a covered outdoor cooking and entertainment area with grills and seating, two pools, tennis courts (damaged during Hurricane Harvey and repair will begin once the remaining damage to the beach front building has been completed) and shuffleboard. Of course, the main attraction is the beach and Unit 202 has great beach access! Wagons or beach carts can easily be pulled a short distance (approximately 300 yards) on well-maintained sidewalks directly to the new private beach walkover. The walkover also has a seating area to enjoy the stunning view with morning coffee or drinks at the end of the day. Fishing and water sports are abundant in the area and free boat parking is available! Galley kitchen has full-size stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Kuerig and drip coffee makers in unit so you can choose how to enjoy your morning coffee! Each bedroom is large with bright, beachy decor, cable and HDTV with Wi-Fi to connect to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Master Bedroom has a King pillow-top mattress and full master bathroom with lighted vanity en suite. Second BR has Queen pillow-top mattress. Plenty of room for a pack-n-play in both bedrooms. Front hallway and half bathroom off of the main living area is very convenient with toilet, sink and lighted vanity. Large living room with queen size sofa sleeper, two leather recliners, and flat screen TV, with free wi-fi and cable. The main living area opens onto the private second story covered balcony overlooking the heated pool and grassy courtyard. We supply the initial set-up of bathroom soap, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels and bedding on arrival. For longer stays, there is a coin operated laundry facility on site and don't forget your beach towels! Both bedrooms separated from front living and dining areas for added privacy. Great for families -- the little ones can go to bed without being disturbed by parents -- or vice versa! Pack and play and highchair are available upon request. Central location . Easy to enjoy Port Aransas as the condo is conveniently located between beach marker 4 and 5 very close to coffee shops, nightlife, and restaurants. Great for walking, biking or golf carting to the action! The complex is right in the middle of the golf cart zone and we have plenty of parking. Guests will have access to community features including, private beach walkover, swimming pools, outdoor grilling, tennis and shuffleboard courts, and on-site coin-operated laundry facility. We live nearby but plan to give visitors plenty of privacy to enjoy their stay! Our condo is in a great location -- right in the middle of Port Aransas and so close to the beach! Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the condo, on the balcony or in the breezeway!! UPDATE December 2019 -- A note about Hurricane Harvey -- what to expect .... As I am sure you are aware, Port Aransas was massively damaged by Hurricane Harvey in August of 2017. The entire town has worked and continues to work hard to repair their lives, homes, businesses and the community as a whole. Now, two years later, almost all shops and restaurants have re-opened and we are thankful that you have chosen to come support the community! Despite all the hard work you will still see storm damage, inclduing many of the larger condo complexes that are still under repair. You will also see many new businesses under construction as well. Thankfully, our condo unit was not damaged at all by the hurricane even though the Coral Cay condo complex sustained significant damage (particularly to the beachfront building) but repairs are nearly complete thanks to the Herculean efforts of the on-site property management. We now have new, gorgeous roofing throughout the condo complex, all new air conditioning units, new interior and exterior doors and both pools have been resurfaced. All the major exterior building repairs have been completed and the complex has been relandscaped. We decided it was also a good time to add some upgrades to our unit and have installed gorgeous new flooring throughout, added a large game table in the dining area, and replaced the master bathtub and shower.
