Catalina Casita Uno: Downtown One Bed / One Bath!

Located five minutes from the U of A and Downtown Tucson, the Catalina Casita Uno is your one bedroom one bathroom home away from home in Tucson! The space offers a queen Casper bed in a light filled bedroom, bathroom with shower / bathtub, living room w/ fold out couch for one (full size), ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room, dining area and well equipped kitchen (No Stove/Oven). We are pet friendly (policy and fee in place). Walking distance to shopping, dining and entertainment! The space Welcome to Catalina Casitas! Catalina Casita Uno is the sister unit to Catalina Casita Dos at the Catalina Casitas duplex in the historic West University neighborhood. This home is a one bedroom, one bathroom historic bungalow offering a queen bed with Casper mattress in a light filled bedroom, bathroom with shower / bathtub, living room with fold out couch for one (full size), dinette and well equipped kitchen (hot plate for cooking, there is no oven/stove). There are original hardwood floors throughout, air conditioning and central heat to keep you comfortable, and tall ceilings with ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. A smart TV is located in the living room for you to log in and stream your favorite shows. Last but certainly not least, feel free to use the washer and dryer during your stay, conveniently located in the unit. Street parking is available at the front of the property. Many guests enjoy not using a vehicle during their stay due to the walkability to Downtown Tucson and The University of Arizona! *Note: There is NO traditional stove/oven. You must walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom.* LOCATION: The West University Historic Neighborhood is located five minutes from the University of Arizona and ten minutes from Downtown Tucson. The area boasts Tucson's light rail system, The Sunlink, which will take you through Downtown Tucson and also through the University of Arizona with several stops along the way. The closest stop to the Catalina Casitas is a three minute walk. You will also find bike rentals and electric scooters for rent in are area, just download the appropriate app and you are on your way! Uber and Lyft have a great presence in Tucson and are typically available to order up in the area of Catalina Casitas, and typically can scoop you up within five-ten minutes or so. Catalina Park is a stone's throw from the Casitas with a playground, splash pad, workout stations and lots of grass to picnic on. Fourth Avenue is a five minute walk from the casitas, where you will find many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and entertainment. PET POLICY / FEE: We would love for your furry family to join you on your Tucson adventure! Our Pet Policy is fairly simple: Dogs only, limit of two (2). Pet fee $50 per pet / per stay. By default the pet fee is $100 when booking as we have a max of two dogs. If you only have one pup, please let us know and we will refund you $50.00 once your reservation is booked. All pet waste must be cleaned up from the yard spaces prior to checkout. If your pups are big shedders, please take a moment to remove any excessive shed off furniture/ from the interior (there is a vacuum, broom and tape rollers provided). Please let us know if you have any questions on this! Please Note: Each of the casitas are rented separately and with no shared interior spaces. The only shared space is the common area at the front of the property to access each units front door. The units can be rented together (if available) or separately. You must walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. Guest access This property is a duplex. You will have private use of the unit, the front yard entrance gate area to the property is shared. Other things to note Items of note: Although the unit is not multi level, there is a step at the front gate, two at the front door and there is one interior step up into the living room from the entry. Please watch your step! The bedroom does not have a door, and you must walk through bedroom a couple steps to access the bathroom. There is no traditional stove in the unit; however there is a hot plate w/ pans, microwave and toaster oven.
